Entity event groups

Entity event groups functionality enables event-driven data integration by monitoring entity operations and triggering actions when predefined conditions are met. For each selected entity, you can define event groups that determine when and under what conditions the solution should react to data changes.

An entity event group is activated based on specific data operations performed on the entity:

  • Insert
  • Update
  • Delete
  • Upsert

Triggers define which of these operations will activate the event group. By default, the Delete checkbox is not selected, and the event group reacts only to insert and update operations.

You can select fields for a particular entity and receive information only when one or more of the selected fields are changed. This allows you to react to meaningful data changes while ignoring irrelevant updates.

Example: Configure the event group to react only when the email is changed.

To control which records should trigger an event, you can configure filters based on entity attributes. Filters allow the system to react only to records that match specific criteria, such as:

  • Author of the record
  • Company
  • Personal number
  • Any other supported entity field

Example: An event group can be configured to react only to records where people are from New York (NY).
